Creative Community
Are you also a person who likes to hide from the world? Do you want to escape the hustle and bustle and retreat to get creative?
Honestly, painting was so healing for me. I got to know a rather quiet, introverted side of myself. I love the peace and quiet in my studio. My mind can become completely still and creativity gives me so much balance and relaxation, especially mentally.
But as a creative, you can quickly feel lonely and uninspired if you withdraw too much. You feel like you’re treading water and somehow not really getting anywhere.
When I joined a creative community two years ago, it was an absolute game changer for me. I was suddenly able to talk about everything that interested and moved me. Everyone was so supportive of each other. I was able to ask questions and got lots of different answers, perspectives and new ideas.
I suddenly made huge leaps in my development, both artistically and personally. I am now connected with so many artists from all over the world and I value the contact so much.
Whether you’re just starting out and see painting as your hobby or you’ve been active as an artist for a while…
I think it’s important to join a creative community to open yourself up to new things and, above all, to find out that other people are following a similar path to you.
